Frequently Asked Questions
- What is Endowment?
- Edowment is simply money invested for the future generations of St. Walter School. Some of the money from our endowment of year’s past has already given us the ability to keep tuition raises to a minimum.
- How is the Money Earned?
- We have a large base of generous donors from St. Walter School Families and the business community for our main event, the annual Endowment Gala. Gala goers bid on these items and that money becomes a donation. The Golden Raffle ticket sales also raise a good amount of money for the event. Other fundraising events include Ladies Bunco, a Texas Hold ‘Em tourmament, Daddy Daughter Dance, Sister Bernie’s Bingo Bash and many other raffle opportunities.
- What are some examples of items donated?
- DVD Players, Movie Passes, Restaurant Certificates, Hotel Stays, Sports Equipment, Spa Packages, Golf Packages, Theme Baskets, Sports Tickets, Children’s birthday parties and much, much more!
